A large majority of the non-western world that we don't hear very much about believes that there is something called Sanatan Dharma. Also known as Universal Truth. Some western spiritual seekers may agree with some of these but coming from a western evangelical Christian background, I can honestly say that, although they may joke around about it, not too many would honestly say they believe in Karma. They may even joke around that Jesus said, "you reap what you sow." But do they actually believe that the two are synonymous? I doubt it, or even to go as far as to say we also reap good karma.
We believe that Jesus, Krishna, Buddha, and Lao Tzu taught these Universal Truths and each of their messages although some are phrased differently, their messages were often, exact and others very similar. These Universal Spiritual Truths are principles that we believe apply to all beings and the situations we're in. This website will explore these common teachings. No matter your culture or religion we believe that these truths are the foundation for us to understand the nature of reality, our existence and the whole human experience.
Interconnectedness: The thought that all beings and things are connected and part of a larger whole. Impermanence: The understanding that everything is constantly changing and nothing is permanent. Consciousness: The understanding that consciousness is an absolute part of our reality and humans are a part of a larger universal consciousness Karma: The principle that actions have consequences and we are responsible for our choices. Love and Compassion: The understanding that love and compassion are absolute necessities of a spititual life. The Nature of Reality: Exploring questions about the nature of existence, the universe, and the human experience. The Purpose of Life: Reflecting on the meaning and purpose of the of human existence and the journey of the soul. The Importance of Self Awareness: To realize the importance of knowing ourselves and our place in the universe. Our Potential for Spiritual Growth: To continue to explore our personal and spiritual transformation and evolution. The Existence of a Higher Power, Divine Force, Universal Consciousness: To believe in a Divine Presence, whether it be personal or impersonal, that is the source of all things.
Our objective is to bring the awareness of these teachings so everyone can realize their own spiritual transformation, not to be a preaching website. Sometimes we may try to explain the concept these Great Masters are trying to express but never to define what it means. What it means to me may differ completely to the spiritual path you're on. It would be wrong to expect you're spiritual transformation to be the same as mine. I believe this is where religions have failed humanity for centuries. They have been attempting to keep their followers, and the Divine in the box they've created. We will bring you the message of the Great Masters allowing you to reflect and meditate on them.
